Re: Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3
This might be the first Call of Duty game I actually buy, but I make it a habit to not indulge in a series that releases a new installment every year.

Wait what, you never bought a Call of Duty game? I love MW 2, so I am going to get this game of course. I like how it starts off where MW2 left off, or so I herd.

I've played just about all of them, but Modern Warfare 1 was the only one I liked story wise. To answer your question though I've never bought them. I'll play with friends, but the games usually fly under my radar.

I thought Modern Warfare 2 had a good story line. I dont really remember much about number one. Besides using a 50.cal to shoot some dude from a building.
Re: Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3
What I liked about 1 was it's general uniqueness of concept. Being catapulted into the body of a man who is dieing was quite the way to get a point across. In MW2 they did that same thing about 3 times, and it lost a lot of the emotional weight the first one had.

I need to go back and play MW again. I still need some achievments from that game anyway.

I watched a friend play it, and I can now say I'm not getting it. It's generic CoD, and that's not my kind of thing.
Might pick up Battlefield though.
